HALF MOON RESTAURANT IN DOBBS FERRY, YUK

Half Moon restaurant in Dobbs Ferry NY, hostility and menu futility, wow the staff in this place greets you with a groan, just to let you know of the dining experience to come. The menu is a mishmash of Spanish, Asian, American, and Greek dishes. Most entrees come with potatoes brava which is roasted potatoes with tomato sauce. And if u don't kike that its 5 to 10.00 to change the sides.half moon cont, the hostess greeted us in Aerosole house slippers? The bartender who was very hostile and seemed to be amped up and very nervous, was overheard saying just round it up to the nearest dollar who cares if we're a little short, then the bar had a separate tab? In Westchester? At the end of a dead end st?And mandatory valet parking is mandatory? Where are we going we can't get anyplace w out our car, I ordered the Iceberg salad and asked that it be mad tradtionally with blue cheese and bacon, that was met with a "we dont have blue cheese or bacon here. Then I ordered Potato croquets, the dish was dirty, the croquettes were ice cold in the middle so I sent them back, the beefsteak tomato on toast was nasty it tasted like pork, I sent it back as well. I honestly was unable to fine one appealing dish on the entire menu. everything had a catch either a weird sauce or side dish that I do not eat, unfourtunatley this place cannot live up to the Chart House Chain restaurant with its hot chocolate lava dessert and yummy ceasar salad and sesame noodles bowl, hopefully it will run its course and maybe a good company will come in with a more desireable menu, what a rip off. And what a miserable staff and ugly sterile decor. Stay away it is a dissapointment.
