IM trying to sell this futon, and I started thinking...July 15th, 2008
Why the fuck do people hang onto old things? Sitting here at my Mommys house where she is trapped in a pile of clutter. She cannot walk comfortably in here. She trips she stumbles and she drags crap in off the street on a daily basis, its NOT because she is poor, it is her hobby! She just loves junk! If she is not dragging off the street she is collecting stuff from “shops” when Mom lived in Ossining her shopping problem was so bad that on the 28th of every month this Lady who owned a junk shop would call her to lure her into the store just in time to get a piece of her social security check!!!!. So she bought back everything she lost in a storage unit I couldn’t keep up and she made me feel horrible about for the past 12 years!I mean it was all shit from her whole life that was a bad memory anyway! But I understand the sadness of losing everything, I lost a storage too, but I felt so bad because I let her down. But in my own defnse junk sucks. My Mother just handed me a tote bag filled with papers she was saving for me. Diary pages, arrest records, medical reports, sad letters of apology, dammit WHYYYY DID SHE KEEP THIS SHIT?!?!?! I mean if I WANTED to feel bad and filled with remorse and regret I would move back to YOUNGSTOWN! Thanks Mom for giving me back a bunch of memories locked in papers I;d rather forget! Stop saving stuff!. You know I love you Mom, but i just had to vent….nobody reads this anyway
